(Opto-Electronic Advances, OEA) was founded in 2018. It is an English-language academic journal directed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and hosted by the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is committed to publishing high-quality original results, reviews, and news in the field of optoelectronics. OEA is a peer-reviewed international journal that has been supported by the China Association for Science and Technology's "China Science and Technology Journal International Influence Promotion Program" category D project.

The journal is committed to rapidly reporting progress in scientific research and creating a high-end and professional platform for academic exchanges at home and abroad.
